
Executive Director of the “My Step” Charitable Foundation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and Executive Director of the “Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine” Charitable Foundation Armen Stepanyan have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation under which the parties plan to carry out joint programs in the areas of education and science in order to identify the major resource of Armenia, that is, human capital.
The “Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine” Charitable Foundation will allocate an AMD 50,000,000 grant to the “My Step” Foundation’s “Quanta” Master’s Degree Program in Quantum and Mesoscopic Physics with the aim of inviting high-class specialists from the world’s top universities; in particular, it is planned to invite specialists from universities like MIT; Berkeley, University of California; ITMO University in Saint Petersburg and other universities to teach at the international scientific-educational institution “Pan-Armenian Center for Excellence”.
The aim of the “Quanta” Program is to prepare high-quality specialists who can deal with key issues related to the arms industry, ensuring national security, as well as invest their knowledge in private companies, conduct research and launch startups.
