Cultural programs and initiatives

Culture is one of the major pillars for the preservation of identity and formation of value system of a nation; thus, the development and preservation of culture is of paramount importance for shaping a quality society. Cultural programs provide an opportunity to preserve the national identity and transmit it from one generation to the next. These programs play an important role also in the upbringing and education of young people, fostering the development of creative and critical thinking of youth, and they bring young people closer to the arts, literature, music and cultural values in general, and they help shape tolerance and solidarity within society. The cultural sector also has its special place in the context of a country’s economic development since cultural events, festivals, as well as expos and exhibitions attract the attention of many tourists.

Since the very first day of its establishment, the “My Step” Charitable Foundation has always focused on cultural issues by initiating programs and projects associated with various areas of culture. Adhering to its mission and goals, the Foundation will continue to support various cultural initiatives and help preserve the values that have been transmitted to us Armenians throughout the centuries. By supporting the development of culture, we will help our country present our rich cultural heritage and value system to the world. Exhibitions and music festivals will be organized at the direct initiative or with the direct support of the Foundation, and this will allow Armenian society to become familiar with the works and performances of both Armenian and international artists.
