Through the “Horizons” Dual Education Program and at the initiative of the “My Step” Foundation, a 254 sqm educational-industrial greenhouse was built at the Secondary School named after H. Navasardyan in Amberd village of Armavir Province (beneficiary of the Program). Construction was funded by Monaco’s ‘Children and Future” Association.

A garden was established in the premises of the Secondary School named after H. Navasardyan in Amberd, and eco dried fruits and compotes are made from the fruits taken from the garden. Taking into consideration the rich experience that the School has in terms of active participation in the “Horizons” Dual Education Program and the implementation of agricultural activities, it is exactly this school that was selected for the construction of a greenhouse. This will provide the learners with the opportunity to become familiar with the characteristics of the organizing of greenhouse economy through practical courses and will serve as a source of healthy eating for the School’s cafeteria.
