While working by her profession at different restaurants for many years, chef-technologist Irina Martirosyan decided to not only work, but also start her business. With Irina’s recipes, it only takes 7 minutes to prepare the meals that Armenian families love and are considered traditional dishes.
Irina Martirosyan is a beneficiary of the “From Successful to Novice” Program of the “My Step” Charitable Foundation. She saw the announcement and filled out an application, and after having a unique business, she was among the 42 top women who received grants worth AMD 1,000,000 from successful businesswomen to grow their respective businesses.
“Through the funding provided by the Foundation, we fully rearmed the factory and increased sales. I purchased freezers, a refrigerator, a gas stove, an air conditioner and a meat grinder, as well as furnished my factory according to the business plan that we had submitted. I expect to see an increase in sales soon and start collaborating with new shops and stores. If sales go up, I think we will also hire workers. We will mainly select women from our villages who are in difficult life situations,” the Program’s beneficiary Irina Martirosyan said.
Irina has high hopes that she will participate in the “From Successful to Novice” Program again, but this time, she will participate with the willingness to provide support as a successful and well-established businesswoman, not with the hope of receiving support.
