The “My Step” Charitable Foundation carries out a number of cultural programs and initiatives. Since the inception of the Foundation, preservation and development of various areas of culture and gradual solution to the key issues have been in the Foundation’s focus.
In 2024, the “My Step” Foundation started carrying out a project — as a sub-branch — for the provision of musical instruments to music schools.
Through partnership with individual benefactors, the Foundation has received brass and percussion instruments, as well as synthesizers and microphones as contributions. Partnering with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and conducting needs assessment, the Foundation provides musical instruments to music schools and organizations that operate in Armenia’s provinces and Yerevan and under the auspices of which music bands carry out their activities.
Through this project, 4 music schools operating in Yerevan (Yerevan Special Music School #13, Special Creative Center in Yerevan, Yerevan Specialized Secondary Music School named after P. Tchaikovsky and Henrik Igityan National Center for Aesthetics) have received brass and percussion instruments, as well as synthesizers and microphones.
In April 2024, the “My Step” Charitable Foundation and Arevik Children’s and Youth Ensemble launched partnership, through which the Foundation donated brass and percussion instruments to the Areviktsis (members of the Ensemble). Later, the Foundation donated tents and a number of musical instruments to Tshakhruk Cultural NGO.
The “My Step” Foundation will be continuing to donate musical instruments to music schools and bands across the country.
