The second stage of the Program for Discovering the Professional Potential of War Participants was held in Armavir and Lori Provinces, with the participation of 41 servicemen who are from both provinces and acquired disabilities in consequence of the 44-day war. Personal growth plans were drawn up for all the beneficiaries; based on those plans, they took part in vocational training courses (accounting, social media marketing, programming, 3D modeling, event management, dried fruits production, foreign languages, etc.), as well as business planning and administration courses.
Out of all the participants, 19 attended the vocational training courses, while 32 participated in the business planning and administration courses, after which they submitted their respective business plans. Out of all the business plans, the “My Step” Charitable Foundation approved 27 business plans (apiculture, greenhouse economy, furniture manufacturing, photo studio, dried fruits production, auto maintenance, etc.) and provided the necessary funding for their implementation.
Based on the results of the Program, 5 servicemen having acquired disabilities as a result of the war, have been hired by various organizations, while another 27 have started doing business.
The third stage of the Program for Discovering the Professional Potential of War Participants is being held in Kotayk, Ararat and Vayots Dzor Provinces and has seen a turnout of 83 beneficiaries from all three provinces.
