
Participants of the second summer school courses (part of the “Quanta” Master’s Degree Program in Quantum and Mesoscopic Physics) received their certificates. Twenty-five students successfully participated in the summer school courses held from July 1 to 10 in Dilijan with the purpose of preparing students for admission to the Master’s Degree Program.
Among those attending the award ceremony was Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, who congratulated the participants on successfully completing the summer school courses and touched upon the importance of becoming top specialists in the sector of quantum physics and the need for advancement of quantum technologies in Armenia.
The participants of the summer school program expressed gratitude for the knowledge gained and the opportunity to meet with the field’s experienced professionals.
Last year, 37 students from 6 universities participated in the summer school program. This year, there were 29 applicants, of which 25 had the chance to take part in the program.
The “Quanta” Master’s Degree Program in Quantum and Mesoscopic Physics has been carried out since 2022, and the tuition fees of the students are reimbursed by the “My Step” Foundation.
The aim of the Program is to prepare high-quality specialists who will deal with the issues in the arms industry to ensure state security. They will also invest their knowledge in private companies, conduct studies and research and launch startups.
September will mark the start of the new school year of the “Quanta” Master’s Degree Program. Among the lecturers will be Armenian and foreign specialists from the world’s top universities and academic centers.
