The Academic Board of the International scientific-education center Institution “Pan-Armenian Center for Excellence” has held its inaugural session today. The Board includes Professors Dmitry Budker (UC Berkeley), Dmitry Firsov (St. Petersburg Polytechnic University), David Blaschke (University of Wrocław), Aram Papoyan (Institute for Physical Research of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia) and Hayk Sargsyan (Russian-Armenian University), as well as Associate Professor Davit Hayrapetyan (Russian-Armenian University). The session was led by the Director of the Institution, Gevorg Meliksetyan.

The agenda of the session consisted of two parts: the election of the Board President and Secretary and the confirmation of topics for the master’s theses.

After a secret ballot vote, Distinguished Academic of Armenia, Professor of Physics and Mathematics Hayk Sargsyan was elected unanimously as the President of the Academic Board, and PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Davit Haypetyan was elected Secretary of the Board.

In the second part of the session, the Board confirmed the topics for the master’s theses.
