Taking into account the effectiveness of the Program for Discovering the Professional Potential of War Participants carried out in Shirak Province, Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan have signed a new Memorandum of Cooperation for enhancement of the Program in the future.
“When the first pilot program was over, we decided to also introduce the Program in Armavir and Lori Provinces, taking into account the fact that the Program was fruitful. This was extremely positive and satisfying. We hope to introduce the Program in other provinces of the Republic of Armenia after its successful completion,” Mkhitar Hayrapetyan stated.
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan said the fact that the beneficiaries are provided with the opportunity to become competitive in the labor market is one of the key components of the Program.
“With this Memorandum of Cooperation, we plan to cooperate with various social service agencies, taking into consideration all the problems and successes that have been recorded in Shirak Province in the course of activities with people who participated in the 44-day war,” Narek Mkrtchyan said.
The program for discovering the professional potential of participants of the 44-day war has been carried out since 2022. The “My Step” Foundation and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia had concluded another Memorandum of Cooperation to carry out tasks aimed at ensuring employment for the participants.
