The beneficiary of the “Power of One Dram” initiative of Idram and IDBank for the month of April is the “My Step” Foundation’s Program for Discovering the Professional Potential of War Participants, the aim of which is to contribute to the social-economic reintegration of servicemen — wounded as a result of the war and residing in the provinces of the Republic of Armenia — through professional training and by fostering the motivation to work.
“What lies at the core of this Program is the identification of the professional capabilities and skills of servicemen who became disabled as a result of the war and the creation of new opportunities for implementation of their full potential on the basis of that,” Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan stated.
“The problem with the reintegration of war participants is of primary importance in society, and the failure to take serious actions in a timely manner may lead to irreversible consequences for both war participants and the whole society. Therefore, we chose this program as the beneficiary for the month of April with great hope and expectations,” Head of the Communications Unit at IDBank Tatevik Vardevanyan said.
“Power of One Dram” is a Corporate Social Responsibility program of IDBank and Idram. Through this program, the two companies each transfer, from their accounts, 1 dram (AMD 1) to the initiative for every payment made through the Idram&IDBank platform, IDBanking.am and Idram.am and the payment terminals of both companies. The “Power of One Dram” has already crossed the AMD 120 million limit (the funds are transferred to the funds and foundations carrying out programs and projects that are important for Armenia).
