Realizing the importance of the social-economic reintegration of homeland defenders who were wounded during the 44-day war and the need to stand with them and help them get back to their normal lives, Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and Country Director of the Izmirlian Foundation for Armenia Armen Chobanyan have signed a grant contract.
According to the contract, the Izmirlian Foundation will support the ongoing implementation of the Program for Discovering the Professional Potential of War Veterans, which is being implemented by the “My Step” Foundation.
The aim of the Program is to contribute to the social-economic reintegration of soldiers — wounded during the war and residing in the provinces of the Republic of Armenia — by fostering employment and the motivation to work. Discovery of the capabilities and skills of soldiers who became disabled and creation of opportunities for them to use their full potential (on the basis of the discovery of capabilities and skills) lie at the core of this initiative.
