Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, along with Mrs. Anna Hakobyan, paid a visit to the presidential residence of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) where he had a meeting with President of the FRG Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender.
After the official reception ceremony, Prime Minister Pashinyan and Mrs. Hakobyan left notes in the book for guests of honor, after which the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia held private talks with President of the FRG, while Mrs. Hakobyan held private talks with Elke Büdenbender.
Mrs. Anna Hakobyan and Elke Büdenbender attached importance to the active efforts of the wives of the heads of states in different directions.
The wife of the German President attached importance to the development of dual education and the programs that are being carried out in this direction, providing details about the actions that Germany is taking.
The Prime Minister’s wife stated that the “My Step” Foundation is also carrying out programs in the area of dual education.
The major role of women in the establishment and strengthening of peace was underscored. In this context, Mrs. Hakobyan invited Elke Büdenbender to attend the international summit that Yerevan will host this year under the title “The Role of Women in Promoting Democracy, Peace and Security”.
