Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of “My Step” Charitable Foundation Anna Hakobyan and the Foundation’s Executive Director Mkhitar Hayrapetyan have held a meeting with a group of representatives of Switzerland’s Armenian Diaspora in Geneva. The participants of the meeting discussed the Foundation’s mission and objectives and underlined that in order to have a strong state, it is imperative to train strong and educated individuals.
Mkhitar Hayrapetyan presented the 4 ongoing programs of the Foundation, which are all aimed at discovering human potential. “Horizons” Dual Educational Program, “Quanta” Master’s Program in Quantum and Mesoscopic Physics, as well as the “Discovering the Professional Potential of War Participants” and “Enhancing STEM fields in Public Schools” programs facilitate establishment of a more competent and competitive society, which will be prepared to face even the toughest challenges of the future.
The Foundation representatives underlined that the priority is to establish a model of continuous education with involvement of all powers and age groups of the society. One of the main objectives of the ongoing programs is to create opportunities for people to develop their knowledge, skills, and capabilities in the fast-changing world.
The meeting ended with a Q&A session, during which the Foundation’s Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Anna Hakobyan and Executive Director Mkhitar Hayrapetyan answered the questions of the representatives of Switzerland’s Armenian Diaspora.
