Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan hosted Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan and Deputy Minister Davit Sahakyan. During the meeting, they discussed the current issues of the “NerUzh” Diaspora Startup Program, which is being carried out through the joint efforts of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the “My Step” Charitable Foundation.
The Program envisages inviting Armenian representatives of different countries of the world with innovative startup ideas to Armenia and providing them with financial and other kinds of assistance to start and enhance their technology companies on the spot. The parties exchanged views on the implementation of the program.
Mkhitar Hayrapetyan also presented the “Quanta” Program of the “My Step” Foundation — a 1.5-year Master’s in Quantum and Mesoscopic Physics Program through which high-class Armenian lecturers from the leading universities of the world will also be invited to deliver lectures.
The Director of the “My Step” Foundation also informed Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan about the upcoming programs and touched upon the efforts aimed at enhancing the directions of the STEM in general education schools.
At the end of the meeting, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan underscored the willingness to work closely and actively with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry within the scope of human capital development.
