
Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan today visited the Summer School of the “Quanta” Master’s Program in Quantum and Mesoscopic Physics which is taking place in Dilijan and had a meeting with the participants. From July 1 to 10, 37 students of 6 universities of Armenia will be armed with knowledge and will prepare for the Master’s Degree Program set to kick off in September (only 15 of the 37 students will be able to participate in the Master’s Degree Program).
During his meeting with the students, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan attached importance to their participation in the Program. He emphasized that we are living in a new quantum era and that the expected outcome of the Program is to have specialists who will be able to not only use the new types of devices in the area of quantum physics, but also participate in the development and creation of the latest devices.
In response to the students’ questions, the Executive Director of the “My Step” Foundation voiced hope that after completing the “Quantum” Program, the students will become engaged in international scientific groups, will continue their careers in the business sector, will be at the core of newly established IT companies and will be ready to carry out activities in various types of government agencies of the state apparatus.
Mkhitar Hayrapetyan stated that through the “Quanta” Program, for 1.5 years, the students will be able to listen to Armenian scientists of the world’s progressive universities who will be invited to Armenia and will share their knowledge and experience with the future specialists in the area of quantum physics.
