Today, “My Step” Charitable Foundation and RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs signed a memorandum of collaboration, the purpose of which is to unite the efforts to assess the needs, vocational guidance and employment of soldiers living in the Shirak region who were disabled as a consequence of Forty-four-day war.
Information meetings and vocational guidance camps will be organized in the Shirak region, which will stimulate the motivation of war participants and will propel their communication with employers.
As a consequence of the collaboration, it is expected that war veterans with disabilities will be able to entirely reintegrate into society, acquire new skills and social connections. After the rehabilitation period, they will be able to return to the labor exchange. This will give them an opportunity to take care of their family needs on their own. As a result, new mechanisms will be developed for discovering the professional potential of war participants and their integration into the labor exchange, which can later be used by the country.
